Vintage Dove Decoy Wooden Bird Carving From Kent County 2024 Maryland

A great looking, lifesize wooden carved Dove decoy. It was made in Massey Maryland by Jimmy Wright. It has his carved "W" under the tail. Capt. Jimmy passed away last year.

Massey is a small town in Kent County on Maryland's eastern shore.

Capt. Jimmy carved ducks, geese, swan, owls, crows, frogs, doves and various song birds. Looks to have been made in the 1960's.

The body and wings are in three sections. It is just under 12 in. long and 3 inches wide. Original paint and condition. Comes with a wooden stand.
