Antique pitcher jug from Burgio 2024 (Sicily, Italy) made of beautifully glazed terracotta, 1900s

This pitcher is an antique, but it was glazed in a modern way, in a blue and green palette. It was used to pour out water and wine. It has been made in Burgio, in the Sicilian Agrigento Province, at the beginning of the XX century. Burgio is part of a group of 40 Italian DOC certified ceramic cities and towns.

Imperfections and wear are distinguishing signs of authenticity.
