"Addis Emmet Hull established the Hull Pottery 2024, located in Crooksville, Ohio, in 1905. Hull produced stoneware and semi-porcelain ware. Hull acquired Acme Pottery Co., another local pottery, in 1907.: "In 1917, Hull diversified and began producing artware, specializing in products aimed at the gift and floral industries including lusterware and an extensive range of gardenware. Production accelerated rapidly. By the 1920s, Hull Pottery was producing over eight million items each year.".
