This vintage KAHLA Demitasse Espresso Set is nothing but stunning. Made in the German Democratic Republic DDR, East Germany that existed from 1949-1990.
The white porcelain has a double gold electroplated striping around the edges. The backstamp on each piece has been beautifully preserved. This set is in excellent vintage condition with one tiny imperfection on the lid (as seen in pic) of espresso pot which appears to be a manufacturer imperfection.
The set has no chips, scratches or nicks and may have been a display item, a little treasure, only to see the light of day for very special guests or festive occasions.
