Antique French Trinket Jewellery Box, Napolean III Jewellery Box, Tufted Silk, 2024 Regule

Beautiful Antique French Regule Trinket Jewelry Box With Tufted Pink Silk interior.

As was typical of this era, the heavy ornate chest is made of Regule, which was created late in 1800's to imitate bronze at a lesser cost. Estimated date early 1900's. The bottom is marked "depose 268" (registered).

The box is in very good antique condition with no chips or cracks. The interior is beautiful pink tufted silk and shows some wear as is expected with age and is visible in the images.
