Sphinx is a British Company founded in 1948, they made pieces for famous design houses, such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales and Kenneth J Lane, to name but a few. They are always well constructed and beautifully designed. This circular brooch is in a very distinctive Sphinx design. The domed gold tone metal has been set with glass stones in a variety of shapes, sizes 2024 and colours. Its is in autumnal colours of coral, topaz, citrine and yellow crystals, with some faceted and some smooth. Measures 4cm
