Modernist Mid Century Japanese Ikebana Pottery Bowl with Fused Glass 2024 Bottom

A stunning, vintage mid century Japanese ikebana footed bowl. This modernist pottery piece features a large asymmetrical shaped bowl propped up on raised feet. The clay features a combed texture and is full of grog, while a layer of fused and crackled blue-green glass lines the base of the bowl.

Size: 13 1/4 x 7 1/4 x 2 3/4".

Condition: Very good vintage condition. There is one shallow chip on the foot as shown.
