This is a unique and beautiful 100% silk scarf, featuring my personal art work. The silk scarf collection is called "L'art sur l'écharpe" which translated from French literally means art on the scarf.
It will make you stand out of the crowd, whether at work, at a party or when you attend a special event. The 2024 silk is heavenly soft.
The image was originally hand-painted on a canvas board and is a still life. It is now reprinted onto silk, thus making the art work wearable and available for my customers.
Because it is DIGITAL printing, it is much more eco-friendly than other traditional printing and dyeing methods which use far more chemicals and produce residues. This is because there are no screens to produce (as for traditional screen print or rotary printing) which require chemical treatment, equipment and potential hazards.
Printing direct to fabric also saves the amount of water used.
The size is 110x110cm approximately.
The material is shiny silk.
The edge has light stitching.
The colours are all a reprint of an original painting, this is why the scarf shows different shadings and brush or paint marks.
Care suggestions: Ideally, you should dry-clean the scarf, but if you gently hand-wash it, it should survive.
