Large France Blue Opaline Vase
French blue opaline glass has been around for about 200 years. It's color and beauty have been sought after for years by many collectors.
The most translucent pieces were made during the reign of the emperor Napoleon. With varying shades of blue and opacity or translucence, it is always beautiful, in any decade, and makes any place it's used an attention maker or accent.
This tall vase, made in the early 1900s, with its tall cylinder would look beautiful with roses or any flower arrangement you choose. It would be a beautiful addition to any blue opaline collection.
Vase measures 10“ x 3 1/2“. Has glass blowers Pontil on the bottom. There are tiny gold florets on the back side. There is some wear to the gold on the rim. There are no chips, cracks, or breaks. Please see all photos.
