Product code: Vintage 2024 hooded velvet short cape/capelet/shawl
Beautifully hand made short cape from around the 1940's or 50's I believe. The soft velvet fabric has what looks to me like a woodgrain design, see the close up photo. Fully lined. It has a single button closure at the top with a large rhinestone button. The hood has the velvet lining and is a tulip 2024 shape at the top seam. No labels. It appears to have been hand made with some machine and hand stitching. Hook and eye under the hood. It measures 19" long. 18" across the top of the shoulders, 25" @ elbow, 31" at the hem. Excellent condition. The only issue is that one or the rhinestones in the button is dull. None are missing. I ship same or next business day.
