Dove with an Olive Branch

A new design but an old favourite of mine. The dove being the symbol of peace and the olive branch bringing hope. At least in my lifetime, I have never experienced so many people globally yearning for both peace and hope. Since I was a child, I have always loved the account of Noah in his ark waiting for the turbulent waters to subside with no land in sight. When finally the dove appears carrying an olive branch to show that, "Yes, there is still life out there and all is not forsaken"

Handmade, sewn and embroidered with love. The cushion has been filled with a bit of steel shot so 2024 as to give it a lovely weight when holding it and made to inspire you while sewing.
