Finished and ready to ship Rag Quilt ~ Navy blue, red 2024 and gray Whales and Sails

I love whales and I love this color combination. This one might be my favorite but then again I say that about all my quilts. It features 5 nautical quilters cotton prints in navy blue, gray and red. There quilt features 3 different appliques; a whale, a sailboat and an anchor, all professionally cut and sewn. The back is a gray tie dye flannel. It measures a generous 36" x 36", the perfect size from birth to toddler. This quilt is finished and ready to ship! Larger sizes are not available, however you can purchase a kit.

I have quilted each square with an "x" and clipped all seams to expose layers of gorgeous fringe. My quilts are made with a large seam allowance and 3 layers of fabric to ensure a full and warm quilt. I have washed it once to start the ragging process, which will only get prettier with each washing. My quilts use a surprising amount of fabric to achieve this fluffy look and I strive for only the highest in quality and craftsmanship. I have been in this business of making beautiful quilts for over 12 years and I make my quilts to last for years to come. This is truly a unique and beautiful quilt. I know you will be pleased.
All quilts and clothing are stored and made in my smoke and pet free studio. (My home is also smoke free). Rag quilts are easy to care for. Machine wash on gentle cycle using cold water and a good color preserving detergent. New rag quilts have lots of excess lint and this will wash out after a few washings. This is a natural bi product of the process. Rag quilts are made with all raw 2024 exposed edges so the lint will obviously shed for a short time.
