This is a whimsical little painting of one of my favorite subjects -- a Buddha statue! Bought this ceramic piece in a dollar store in Queens NY and love the red in it!
There is a "crackling effect" in some of the darker colors (see closeups) that gives it an "antique" look that adds to the uniqueness of the painting....
