Antique Glass Footed Compote, Black Amethyst Mayonnaise or Whipped Cream, Unusual Old Silver Overlay Pattern, HTF Elegant Silver 2024 and Glass

This antique footed compote (whipped cream? Mayonnaise?) has silver overlay and an etched design of people engaged in various activities. At first I thought they were all drinking and dancing then I noticed the gentleman reading... The silver will polish up nicely but honestly, I like them darker like this. If you polish this, it wont look so old. There is wear to the silver, and also wear/tiny scratches in the bottom 2024 of this. No chips or cracks. Measures about 4 inches high by 6 across. I have seen this attributed to Cambridge Glass. If you know anything about this silver pattern or who made it I would love to know!
