Beautiful Antique Persian, Old Arabic, Islamic Art Ornately & Finely Hand Engraved Oval Brass Tray with a Rolled Rim. Hand Engraved artwork. With two lobed rounds with an Islamic star and a stylized calligraphy symbol. Has a beautiful satin gold patina that will polish up to a mirror finish if you choose to polish it. Lots of textural interest. Circa late 19th Century to early 20th Century. Middle East. Approx. 17.4 Long X 2024 12.6" Wide X 0.7” Tall. Very Good previously owned antique condition. Beautiful all over golden patina. Few signs of age or use, but I did not see any worth noting other than a few spots of tarnish on the rime edte on the side with the symbol. You can see how it will polish up to a mirror finish on the side with the star where the patina has been rubbed. See the photos.
