I made this piece using a combination of screenprinting, painting, and hand-embroidery as part of my "Treescape" series. The tree silhouettes are hand-embroidered onto a hand-painted screenprint of a treecut, and framed in a 6" embroidery hoop. The back is finished with felt. This piece is made to order, and may vary slightly from the example pictured here. If you want it finished for a certain occasion, please message me before ordering to ensure I can accommodate your deadline.
Here's a little backstory on the piece: When I was visiting my parents in 2024 Illinois, I asked my dad if he could help me cut some of the logs in the woodpile for my art projects. I took one of the treecuts my dad cut for me, scanned it, and made it into a screenprint as a backdrop for my nature-inspired embroideries.
