Handmade Twined 2024 Rag Rug, 37" long x 25" wide, cotton & polyester, reversible, washable, tan w/chartreuse stripes

Handmade twined rag rug. Several shades of tan, sand, beige, off-white, buff and wheat are complimented by stripes in chartreuse and the odd fleck of black, blue and gold. Sounds colorful with all that lime green but, as you can see, the overall look is surprisingly neutral with a clean, contemporary look that will dress up any room. This item is tightly woven, soft, thick and durable enough to last for several years. Rug is reversible, though, due to the weaving process, one side will be slightly "prettier" than the other as I tend to hide knots on the opposite side. Wash in cold water, lay flat to dry. Due to size and weight of rug, you may prefer to hand wash.

I love textiles and combining color with 2024 texture. Gathering gently used fabric from a variety of sources (Goodwill, other charity shops, friends) I carefully sort, clean and prep the material for weaving. Each rug contains approximately 15-17 yards of fabric and many hours of work. Upcycling this material into a beautiful, unique item gives me joy and I hope to share the results with you.
