Vintage 2024 1980s Gold-Plated Black Enamel Necklace and Bracelet Set, Demi-Parure

Here is a truly fabulous jewellery set from the big and bold 1980s. Lots of black enamel irregular circle and oval shapes linked together in a stunning collar necklace and stretch cuff bracelet to match. No signature on these I'm afraid, but the styling is so typical of the 80s, and very reminiscent of Monet, Monet's work for YSL, Napier, Cabouchon and many other big names of 80s jewellery design - it's not from any of them, but it's very similar in quality.

There is a bit of repair work to the bracelet, which is understandable considering the age, but this can only be seen on the reverse - I am pretty sure this would not have had white 2024 elastic threaded through the links. Still, if you have slender wrists, it's not so obvious.

The necklace measures 45 - 52cms long (17 3/4 - 20 1/2") and the bracelet measures 19cms (7 1/2") and is elasticated. The necklace has a very secure lobster clasp. This set looks stunning with a black dress or jacket or a very bright plain colour, as you can see.

This is a real eye-opener, and a conversation piece, so wear this sparingly. It is memorable, so for that special occasion it will be perfect. A wedding perhaps...
