This delightful vintage French mustard crock is a perfect addition to any kitchen and also works wonderfully when displayed on light wood furniture with some beautiful wildflowers.

The size and shape of this stoneware pot, together with the LAB-Lagny text make this one very desirable.

HOW OLD?
Although this style of stoneware pots are still used for French mustard sold in supermarkets today, this is a vintage piece that probably dates to the 1940s or 50s. An example of a LAB-Lagny pot is included in the permanent collection of the North Sydney Heritage Centre at Stanton Library, which documents the social and cultural history of the local area. They place the manufacturing date for these pots as being between 1900 to 1950.
