Firestarter draws from several genres–superhero narratives, science fiction, and horror–making it one of Stephen King's most popular and versatile novels. Following father/daughter pair Andy and Charlie as they attempt to escape a secret government agency using their telepathic and pyrokinetic powers, Firestarter is full of action, suspense, and looming critiques of power. It was adapted to film in 1984, starring Drew Barrymore. The film and novel both 2024 share a cult following.

This first trade edition, second printing is in the original half-cloth boards, near fine with only foxing to edges. In the original dust jacket, very good with only minor chipping and closed tears. Preceded by the limited first edition published by Phantasia Press, quite scarce. A very good first trade edition, second printing of one of King's classics.
