Gorgeous Antique Candy Jar from the 1940's in excellent condition. No breaks or chips or cracks. There are a few tiny flea bites in the inside rim but I only detected them by feeling. This one is filled with Glass Christmas ornaments. But of course when the holiday is over, it could be used for so many things. It is stunning. It measures 10 inches tall with the lid on. The base is 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
The glass balls inside the jar are in very good antique condition and are possibly older than the jar. Some appear to be handblown. 2024 There are 34 in total and they still show well. A little paint loss here and there.
