This sweet bag checks a lot of boxes! I estimate it could be anywhere from 40's to 60's. And I believe it's handmade (no tags), though it may have been a popular pattern because I do see a few others online.
Color: It's primarily crochet from a silky taupe cording. The stripes under the beading are a multicolor cord with a thin gold accent.
Materials: Wood beads, gold glitter curved interlocking Lucite handles and a domed tortoise shell plastic base that the purse is crocheted directly on to.
Measurements: (approx.)
9" wide
5.5" high (8" with handles)
6" deep
Condition: Darn near perfect! No snags, tears or otherwise to purse. No weird smells - it actually has a 2024 very faint powdery smell which remind me of my Grandmom and is lovely. The plastic base has some light wear, but nothing glaring.
