Stunning Antique Egyptian Revival double sided enameled brass watch fob from 1910-1920. Among the depictions are Osiris, Isis, the Sphinx and a winged scarab. Each section is different and each side is different, with different hieroglyphs that have been highlighted with enamel. In great condition with original patina uncleaned.
This would have hung off a watch and chain on a waistcoat.
This has been with me since my first vintage store in the 1970's and Egyptian Revival was a rare find in those days as well as 2024 now. I have held on to it ever since and now it is time for a new home. This is a collectors piece or for someone who appreciates wearing such an item. It would make an excellent gift for a man who would wear and appreciate such a thing.
