Like bronze sculpture bronze jewelry will take on a brownish green patina as it ages and comes into contact with skin. If you would prefer your piece to maintain its original luster just clean it with some BRASSO (or other metal cleaner) and a soft cloth. A very fine,dry steel wool will also work
