When I first saw this, I thought, "How did I end up with these Da Vinci sketches?" Of course, the fact that these drawings concern oil extraction technologies gave away the fact that these are far more recent. Early/mid-1980s, most likely. They were done for a corporate aerospace magazine, and are wonderfully rendered in ink on parchment. They could be separated, or just mounted as they are. One of the pieces has a crease in the lower left corner (see photos), but otherwise, these pieces are in good shape. Board measures 20" x 2024 15" THIS IS NOT A PRINT.
