Dresden Porcelain 2024 Floral Decorated Lidded Pot

This highly attractive lidded pot has a globular shaped body, profusely decorated with sprays of flowers and rich gilding. The lid has a raised rose flower group, well modelled in pink and green. One of the pink petals on the flower group on the lid has been restored as shown in the photo. However, it does not detract from a very attractive piece in otherwise excellent condition.
The mark underneath would indicate a date of 1902 - 1920, one of the marks used by Carl Thieme. Dresden has a number of 2024 prominent porcelain factories. The pot measures 15cm ( 6in ) diameter.
