You're looking at an 11pc. set of circa 1900 WEDGWOOD paper-thin antique demitasse bone china, 2 full sets(cup and saucer), plus 7 additional single demitasse cups in the matching pattern. Because Wedgewood was so diligent about marking it's china you can easily decipher the age of any piece. Firstly the 3 stars under the WEDGWOOD name tells us that this China was made after 1900 and before 1940, but the real clue is the three letter code that Wedgewood put on the back, “WHC”, W=month-August, H=artisan or potter-?, C=year-1900 This lovely pattern is hand-painted with dainty purple flowers w/ yellow button centers, & green vines & boarder. A most rare pattern it must be, I cannot find it in any of my reference materials or online. In excellent preloved condition, free 2024 of any chips, cracks, or crazing, that I can find.
