"Fishing Buddies" is a 12" x 12" original acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas painting by Award Winning Artist Heather Bergstrom.

This painting features a rather comical pair of companions: a man with his fishing pole and an opportunistic Great Blue Heron waiting for him to land a big one. This original work of art is based on a photograph taken by the artist on Anna Maria Island, FL. She uses a limited color palette and expressive brush strokes to create a surprisingly realistic image. This piece is full of fun and positive energy; a must for any fishing enthusiast!

Quality is evident not only in the technique but the materials used for this piece. This work has been executed on an extra thick gallery wrapped canvas with solid wood stretcher bars and using professional quality Liquitex acrylic paints. It has been sealed with archival quality gloss varnish to protect from 2024 dust, fingerprints and "life". All sides are painted a warm gray and picture wire is attached to the back. Unframed. Ready to hang.
