Vintage French Sacred Heart 2024 of Mary & Reclaimed Wood Cross & Hand Painted Wood Beads
A small darkened vintage scrolled Sacred Heart of Mary medallion is centered on a hand made reclaimed wood cross, left grainy and so minimally sanded to keep the characteristics of reclaimed wood that are so appealing, the light brown wood and darkened copper have a quiet simplicity. The carcanet is an assemblage of vintage and collected clay, metal, horn and glass beads, vintage rosary beads and hand painted wood beads with a spectacular palette of grays, copper and bronze. Entirely hand made, each component is carefully chosen for color, texture and spirit. Christina is a painter with a fine arts degree and a career in art and product design, best known for her color work. The subtleties of the palette are harmonious, just to gaze is a pleasure.
Artful to be hung on the wall, table, draped in a favorite bowl, atop a stack of books, book shelf, bedside, at your personal altar with candles aglow..
