An early and very unique George Washington Cut Plug canister. This is an original George Washington tobacco tin from 1910. Manufactured by R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. Tobacco can features the iconic illustration of George Washington with text and background in red, white, and blue. Wonderful for display in rustic, primitive, or country decors, and a great addition to 2024 a vintage advertising or tobacco tin can collection.

This tin is in excellent vintage condition A portion of the tax stamp is adhered to the top along with the state Maine tax stamp. The litho on the tin is bright with minor scuffing, some patina on inside and bottom, and no rust. The tin is really beautiful and the illustrated image of George Washington is superb.

Size is approximately 5-1/2 inches in diameter by 6-1/2 inches high.
