Gonder Ceramic Arts Twisted Double 2024 Handle Vase in Brown Drip Glaze Standard Line H-5 Ohio Art Pottery Shelf Decor

Gonder Ceramic Arts produced their pottery from 1941-57. During that short production run, they created several lines of pottery with unique glazes. This vase is their double twist handle from their Standard Line, #H-5. Gonder's own unique drip glaze consisted of the second glaze being sprayed over the first. Not always completed evenly, the final finish would be revealed after firing, so glazes vary from piece to piece.
This piece is their Wine Brown glaze, meaning the initial glaze was white with brown sprayed over that. Some of the lighter areas of glazing appear as spots from a distance, so I have included a close up of one such 'spot." No chips, cracks or crazing appear on this beautiful piece. The vase is 8.5" tall with a rim diameter of 2" and a greatest width of ~7". Block mark on bottom. Please 2024 refer to the pictures for the current and accurate condition of this beautiful piece.
