FROM ACME'S SITE:
To follow the International success we had with the Memphis Designers Collection, the next obvious step was to approach the best of the American Architects. We first went to Philip Johnson, who declined as he did not do decorative arts. But instead, he offered to put us in touch with the other architects that we wanted involved, as well as helping us curate the designs to produce. The entire collection shown was produced in 1986, and quantities are limited.
Please note: These were all hand made in the 1980s using 2024 the intricate cloisonné process. Any imperfections within the colors are to be expected and inherent to the process which makes each piece unique and special.
