It took me 2.5 years and 8 (yes 8) attempts before passing the EPPP. In that time, I used many aspects (e.g., workshops, webinars, flashcards, exams, audios) of all 5 programs that are out there.
As someone who is a very visual learner and likes mnemonics, these are not things I found a big concentration of with any of the programs, so I decided 6 months before my last 2 EPPP attempts to start creating my own.
In the process of me making these, I also piloted their utility with friends who also found these very helpful in their studying and part of their EPPP success, and since passing I have been going back to make it even better and easier to use. My intention is that these will be a supplemental tool for visual learners and people who like mnemonics.
In my original Domain C packet, Social Psych was 14 pages in length and it has received a MAJOR GLOW UP and is now 118 pages. I have added MORE mnemonics, MORE content, bunches of helpful images, MORE examples than you can shake a stick at, broken down things in plain English, 18 what I call “overlap alerts” where we see these concepts in other parts of EPPP content to enhance integrating the material, and tips to get the content to stick and I also broke down some of the confusing/tricky jargon to improve understanding (I call these “jargon word alerts” and there are 25 I included in social psychology).
