About the artist:

Was born in 1918 in Gradizhsk (now Poltava region).  Graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1949).  He worked in the field of easel painting. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1949, "All-Union Art Exhibition", Moscow (1951, 1952) and others.  Lived and worked in Kiev.  Died in 1978.
