i choose torch firing my 2024 enamels vs. kiln firing. it is a more intimate experience that allows me to create more rustic effects and to layer my colors in interesting ways. there's really nothing like heating the copper to a glowing red and seeing the powder turn into molten glass.

each piece is achieved using at minimum three colors and combining both opaque and transparent glass.
recycled sterling hand-formed ear wires that are patinaed, tumbled for strength and polished.
