DECEMBER BIRTHSTONE Turquoise SAGITTARIUS 2024 with Kokopelli figures Framed Art Assemblage

Turquoise is the birthstone for the month of December. This artwork features a vintage strand of turquoise nuggets draped over a southwestern stone which rests on a bed of dendrites with their multi-branching tree-like forms. Three kokopelli figures hand carved in stone dance across the top. The kokopelli figure is Hopi 2024 art derived from ancient Anasazi glyphs. Known as a fertility god, prankster, healer and storyteller, Kokopelli embodies the true American Southwest, and dates back over 3,000 years. A polished cabochon of ribbon turquoise highlights the assemblage. Handmade paper of natural fibers surround the center.
