Very rare, vintage Sugino AS 3pc crankset assembly, a 170mm pair of intermediate to high end aluminum cranks produced in Japan by sugino presumably for outfitting on high end, single gear, track bikes. Seamless & flawless crank arms each consisting of only a single piece of aluminum, perfectly formed with no rivets or removable components. 144bcd. Includes a 2024 seal cartridge, square tapered euro bottom bracket mech w/ end bolts & dust caps. Also includes a pair of steel chrome plated, rat trap pedals There is very little information on this specific sugino crankset. It appears to have been rebranded shortly after it's conception under 2 track crank variants: The sugino 75 & the sugino messinger track crank; both utilizing the same bolt pattern & mold. These are absolutely gorgeous. I've come across many medium to high end cranksets over the years, (golden sugino maxy, shimano dura aces etc) but this specific sugino crankset is such a single perfect form, devoid of parts & transitions.
