Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Pincushion, Embroidered Top Dated 2024 1934, Fully Hallmarked Birmingham England 1901

Charming antique Edwardian sterling silver pincushion. The circular silver pincushion has beaded edges, the top with a hand worked panel with a blue ground and embroidered "Feb 22 JJT 1934".
The base is filled and with a leather covering.
Fully hallmarked to the side with; the sterling lion; Anchor assay office mark for Birmingham England; date letter small b for 1901; maker´s mark probably Gourdel, Vales & Co.

The conditon is reasonable due to the original cover being replaced in the 1930s! See photos for details, but there are dents to the top around the pincoshion and to the underside of the base.
