NEEDLE FELTED DONKEYS/Two Wool Felt Donkeys/Cute Baby Donkey/Donkey Lovers 2024 Gift/Felt Farmyard Animals 'Jasper and Rufus'

JASPER is the Leader of the pack - he's fun and funny and kind and thoughtful - so all the other Donkeys are happy to follow him around like little sheep - especially little rascal RUFUS - who's so mischievous - no one else will play with him!!! They are both very handsome with long manes and swishy tails - be warned - they'll melt your heart - don't look at the photos - if you don't want to be 'lumbered' with them!!!

They are both needle felted with 100% British wool - lots and lots and lots of it - so they are wonderfully solid and plump!! They would make a perfect present for a new born baby, a nursery, a kitchen - or anyone who simply loves Donkeys!!

JASPER is approximately 7 inches tall (excluding his ears!!) 2024 x 8 inches long (22x26cm), RUFUS is 6 inches tall x 6 inches long (excluding his ears!) they both have very strong aluminium wire skeletons so they are fully poseable!!

All my animals are entirely handmade and it takes many, many happy hours of loving 'stabbing' with needles and wool to create each little individual character - no two are ever remotely the same - I often feel they make themselves!!!! I prefer to create Naïve, Quirky, Fun little 'Felties' over anything realistic - letting my imagination run wild is such fun!! My sculptures are intended as decorative display items rather than toys, the nature of their construction means they are slightly fragile. I'm afraid they are not suitable for young children. Each piece is a completely unique work of art!!

My 'creatures' have been featured in a 'comic book' article in the June 2018 Arts Issue of Cotswold Life Magazine. Also - a five page feature article in 'Discover Dolls' Magazine in the February 2020 Issue - a copy of which can be seen under my reviews!!
