Here is a large Art Deco Era leather, glass and nickel silver plated hip flask made In England around 1930.

The nickel silver is in good clean condition but could do with additional cleaning to remove the tarnish if preferred. The leather case is intact with no splits and has not receded over the years which can often be seen, rather the leather may have stretched as it now sits below the edge of the silver Plate cup which has resulted in the leather being pushed upwards slightly. The excess could be trimmed if required.

The glass is in very good condition. There is some rubbing to the leather on both sides. The leather is of a tan colour 2024 but has been dyed a cream colour.

A beautiful item with a lot of history attached. The mind boggles imagining what this has seen over its 80+ years, whose pocket this has been in?

Measures 6" high and I would guess this would be a half pint flask.
