Very Rare Marra Mamba Tiger Eye Cabochon. Midnight Blue & 2024 Copper Red.

A rare type of very chatoyant Midnight Blue & Copper Red Marra Mamba Tiger Eye cut into a double sided designer cabochon. The metallic area is Marcasite. The gemstone was mined out in 1974.Found in the Hamersley Ranges in North West Australia. In pockets,in seams of Blue Crocidolite. Cabochon dimensions 35.0mm x 12.6mm x 5.7mm. I thought this type of Marra Mamba Tiger Eye was all gone. I was very fortunate to find a collector that was sitting on some of this beautiful gemstone from Australia. 2024
