2024 Out of stock Foliage WOOL AND SILK ecoprint

Stole in pure yak wool fabric 70% and silk30% . Decorated with the ecoprint technique 2024, botanical contact printing. Created in September 2021. For the processing of this garment I used persimmon leaves, walnut, oak, eucalyptus populos and cinerea, Judas tree, casuarina.
Wash max 30à and spread in the shade. The ecoprint technique uses the dyeing properties of plants without any use of chemical dyes. The leaves release pigments, chlorophyll and tannins on the fabric after a long and accurate mordance of the tissues with rock alum.
