“ Eileen's Porch 2” was painted at Eileen's garden. This painting is a loose and painterly landscape of Eileen's front porch in Lockeford, Ca. I actually painted a much larger oil painting of this location, plein aire. When the light changed, I painted this little guy and came back another day to finish the larger painting. I have painted more than 150, 6”x6” oil paintings. All are of rural farming and ranching in California's Central Valley. I, Marilyn Eger painted them & each one is an all original composition on 1/4" masonite board.
