Woodland Walk - lino cut print
A handmade lino cut of a beautiful woodland scene, filled with wildlife and nature.
This original black and white print of the woods would loo great in any home interior.
Squirrels scampering, birds cheeping, creatures rustling on the forest floor which is covered in leaves, mushrooms, bluebells, ferns etc.
This is a picture you can really get lost in - just like the real woods!
My daughter really wanted a picture of a woodland on her bedroom wall, so starting with her list of animals and plants that must be included (hedgehog, oak tree, primrose and so on) I came up with this image and had such a great time making it. It would be great as nursery art.
This is an original lino cut, hand carved by myself and then printed by hand with a boxwood burnishing tool onto Somerset Satin paper.
The image measures 28cm high x 22.5 cm across, with the paper size around 38 cm high by 28 cm across (this will vary slightly as the paper is hand torn).
The image is one of an edition 2024 of 100, each numbered, named and signed.
The listing is for an unframed lino print and it will arrive flat, backed with card and wrapped in cellophane ready to give as a gift or frame for your home.
