Persian Lamb Jacket with Sheared Beaver Trim by Gunther Jaeckel at Bonwit Teller 2024 In great condition ~ beautifully put together This sumptuous Persian lamb coat was designed by Gunther Jaeckel for Bonwit Teller, the American luxury department store in New York City. The quality of the lamb and the beaver fur is off-the-charts opulent. Some of the photos were taken in bright sunlight. This shoulder is a “drop shoulder” and the sleeves are ¾ long -- very early '60s. Size: M – modeled by a size 12 Jacket Length neck to hem: 18" Shoulder to Shoulder: 22" Sleeve length from Shoulder: 16" This coat was taken care of very well by the previous owner and has been kept in cold storage. There are no bald spots. It is held shut by 4 hook-and-loop ‘frogs'. The bottom and top frogs are intact; the 2nd from top is missing its eye; the 3rd frog down is altogether missing.
