French Sterling 2024 Silver Napkin Ring - Guilloche decor - Single French .950 Solid Silver Napkin Ring, Napkin Holder
Antique to vintage French sterling silver napkin ring with Guilloche style pattern and engraved blank monogram cartouche on the front. Overall in good condition with tarnish, age related scratches, marks and a few edge nicks. And there is shallow indentation or unevenness edge to edge on the back. The ring is out of perfect round. No dents, splits or repairs to note. No monograms.
Stamped with the Minerva 1st (Minerve Premier Titre) standard hallmark, indicating the highest quality of French sterling silver (950/1000), used in Paris since 1838. It also bears the maker's mark of Jules-Alfred Tranchant, active between 1881 and 1920 at 79 rue du Temple in Paris.
It is 1 15/16 inches (4,9 cm) in diameter, 1 9/16 inches (4 cm) wide and 2024 weighs 29.2 grams.
