1000 Butterflies Pattern Porcelain Teacup + Saucer 2024 Set. If not a thousand, at least a plethora of butterflies, gorgeously hand painted on thin translucent porcelain from China circa 1890. The saucer and the exterior of the cup are covered with panels of black bordered butterflies hand painted in vivid polychrome enamels with a gold background and Chinese red edging. The cup handle is bamboo stalk-shaped and had gold and red paint, most of which has worn off. The bottom of the saucer and cup is stamped CHINA in red paint. The cup is 4" diameter and 1 7/8" high. The saucer is 5 3/8" diameter.
