Sitka rose design done on a pear drop style earring.18 gauge copper.
Brand new in Sterling silver identical to the copper except it is made on 22 gauge sterling silver making it a little lighter and thinner. I made this version because of so many request.
Exact measurements are 24.5mm by 18.5 mm. I start the design by engraving flash cuts to the pedals and some light shading on the inside pedals. Finished off by crowing, polishing and for this picture oxidizing giving a nice black background in my cuts. On the back you well find artist initials stamped.
Sitka Rose is a flower that grows all over. Many in southeast 2024 Alaska know it by name. It is very common to be found in Native artwork or nonnative artwork because of its natural beauty.
Items are all hand made and engraved. May differ slightly from pictures.
Two types of finish available. Oxidized version darkening the cuts. Or a high mirror polish that does not have the cuts darkened.
