Old Relics, 2024 An Original Collage

This collage is titled *Old Relics* and measures 5 x 7 inches and is 1/2 an inch deep. This is the original collage--created on canvas, I used acrylic paint, magazine clippings, gorgeous beds, pen & ink, and lots and lots of glue. While the overall landscape is purple, a stone gray Buddha sits back-dropped by a black and white clump of grapes. As the Buddha *holds* an oyster shell, three flowers sway to his side. The edges of the collage have been striped with hand-applied pen & ink decor. This would be a lovely meditation piece for a shrine or altar whether or not you are Buddhist.

I ask that you allow up to one week for me to process and ship your order. Because this canvas is small I mail it myself and do not hire out as I do with my larger original artwork. I will still request delivery confirmation and insurance and promise to safely package it (using recycled materials when possible). If you are local and you'd like to pick the piece up, let me know; I will refund the cost of shipping--depending on my availability, I could deliver too for the price of gas.

I welcome international customers! I love the idea of my art traipsing the globe whereas I can't afford such luxuries for myself. However, the postage rates for this listing (and all my listings) are only estimates. It's impossible to know what someone will order and where it will go, let alone the cost in postage--therefore, I offer the following two options: 1. Contact me before purchase; tell me what you'd like and where you are--I will soon reply with the exact cost in shipping, and if you'd like create a custom listing reserved just for you, or 2. Go ahead and *buy* but expect a likely additional invoice billing you for the difference; once all payments are received in full, I will promptly post.
