A sogan batik has brown color (traditionally made from natural dye of Soga plant). This one includes black and cream colors.
The lereng (diagonal) pattern symbolizes hope.

Conditions: It has a lot of stains and a 3 cm patch as seen in picture (you may ask for more detailed pictures just send us a message).

A hand drawn batik is produced through laborious work, started from hand sketching, applying wax painting on each dots and strokes to resist coloring, and accordingly successive coloring processes. Each piece can take up from 1-4 months of work depending on the complexity and sophistication of the motif.
